WHAT IS THE ENNIS SAFE HOME NETWORK?

IMPACT Ennis is a community coalition made of concerned citizens working together to reduce and prevent youth substance abuse in Ennis. The coalition meets monthly and develops programs that create a safer environment for Ennis youth by reducing access to alcohol and educating adults on the facts about underage drinking, tobacco use, prescription drug abuse, and other issues facing our youth. This is done through partnerships with local law enforcement, media campaigns, and strategic policy changes that make the community safer. Programs implemented by IMPACT Ennis include the Ennis Safe Homes Network, the Prescription Drug Takeback, and Those Who Host Lose the Most. To learn more about IMPACT Ennis, please contact Coalition Coordinator Josie Prachyl at 972-921-5156 or jprachyl@dpri.com

IMPACT Ennis and the Ennis Safe Homes Network are developed and funded by Drug Prevention Resources, Inc. (DPRI). DPRI is dedicated to preventing youth substance abuse through the innovative delivery of evidence based strategies that empower youth, families and communities to flourish within their environments. This is accomplished by conducting prevention education in school and community settings, and by supporting community coalitions such as IMPACT Ennis. To learn more about DPRI, visit www.dpri.com.
